Need a gift for a gamer? Why not give them the scent of their favorite graphics card brand, Nvidia has created a limited edition gift box that includes one of two RTX 30 series gaming laptops, a body spray and shower gel. Can you smell that? No, I think that's the point.

The press release for the Sphynx: Sphynx: Ampere box set promises "a cutting-edge platform for extreme freshness like you've never seen before." Personally, I'd say, "This shower gel is like DLSS for your dirty parts," but thankfully, I'm no longer involved in marketing. Unfortunately, there is no mention of what exactly Sphynx smells like.

Again, my marketing degree was wasted.

Both are very ordinary budget gaming laptops for around $1,000. I actually reviewed the RTX 3070 version of the Acer Nitro 5 (opens in new tab) a while back and thought it was a pretty solid mid-range laptop, despite being a bit of a plain Jane. [If you were hoping to go to your local retailer to get a box set like this, you were out of luck. The Sphinx Ampere box set is not for sale. Instead, they were "produced in limited quantities for free giveaways on social media," so you'll have to look for them online. Until then, we'll just have to be like normal people and use boring non-game deodorant.
