The making of this DIY RTX 4090 glass table sees beauty meet the beast.

I'm a big fan of the little mini ITXs (opens in new tab) that hide the PC, but I also love the flashy and proud RGBehemoths (opens in new tab). Choosing between minimalistic style and bright lights and displayed power is one of the hardest things to do, and finding a middle ground is, in a way, not unimportant. However, it turns out that there are a few masters of the middle ground out there.

Kumag1989's brilliant latest build on the Nvidia Reddit (opens in new tab) is one of the most amazing, yet feasible looking desk top gaming PCs I've ever seen. Instead of making it smaller to fit everything into a slim build, they've made it bigger, leaving the beautifully airy looking glass display and adding a nice faux plant. There is a wonderful clean and relaxed feel, yet there is plenty of usable space on the desk.

The whole thing is covered in glass, with matching white fans and water cooling, making the whole PC look like a work of art on display rather than a beastly gaming machine. The rectangular structure with plants in the center creates a futuristic Zen garden atmosphere.

All spaces are beautifully laid out, making them more relaxing than cramming components into a small space. More relaxing than cramming components into a small space.

Kumag1989 posted the specs used further down in the reddit post. It's a shame that there aren't more in-case tables available, as they can make such nice in-case tables. Also, a custom water-cooled loop solution is employed, which is fairly common in fancy PC builds, and there are plenty of options on the market. If you have the skills and materials to build something like this, you can buy most of the rest as is.

The guts of this beauty are the Intel Core i9 11900K (open in new tab) and RTX 4090 (open in new tab). This is mounted on a Z590 Aorus (open in new tab) Pro ATX motherboard with 32GB of RAM. This is a very nice piece of kit for gaming.

As Kumag1989 admits in the thread, this beauty has some drawbacks. The large amount of glass means that it is prone to fingerprints, and one must be very careful around it. No matter how much you get beat up by the overly strong "Sojourn" main player in Overwatch 2, you won't be enraged by table slams with this bad boy. Nevertheless, gazing at this beautiful build will be more than enough to put your mind at ease, even after a heavy defeat.
