General
Disney Dreamlight Valley has announced my favorite characters for next week's update.

Disney's Dreamlight Valley will receive its second major update (opens in new tab) on December 6. However, aside from the arrival of Woody and Buzz, relatively little is known about the upcoming patch. Thankfully, Gameloft has also dropped another teaser, revealing winter goodies and the arrival of another classic Disney character.

It's just a lightly animated image, but sharp-eyed Dreamlight Valley fans will notice a few additions. What people seem most excited about is that Stitch is pictured at the feet of the main playable character. It is unclear if he will be a companion like Moana's Pua, or if he will be a full-fledged character, complete with a house. I'm leaning toward the latter, especially since we've never seen Lilo & Stitch characters before.

With winter approaching and Toy Story being the focus of the patch, the new clothes and Star Pass (the Dreamlight Valley version of the Battle Pass) seem to be season- and movie-themed. Characters like Merlin and Mickey wear their own holiday-themed outfits, and the main characters wear some previously unseen outfits like jackets. There's also a snowman in the background, and the friends are dressed in winter clothing; Disney Dreamlight Valley Discord and Twitter players seem to be snickering that Starpath will be all about space, which seems like a perfect way for Buzz to get into the game.

Exciting update and I can't wait to jump in myself. I'm not a huge Disney fan, but I was pleasantly surprised by Dreamlight Valley; it's the best PC version of Animal Crossing (opens in new tab) and well worth your time if you like cozy games and Disney movies.
