Classic Superman Bug Returns in Modern Warfare 2

For a while, "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" had a very amusing glitch called the Superman Bug. A quick search will turn up hundreds of examples, but the gist of it was that the game would get confused and the player would move at a speed that made it seem as if the player was free-falling through the air, when in fact he was much closer to the ground. The name "Superman" is so called because, as you can see, moving in this manner places the player model horizontally in a skydiving position.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has already brought back several classic bugs, but Superman is back as well, and it seems to be showing up in several forms in MW2, with one clip showing the player jumping off the ground, rapidly gaining momentum, and then jumping back to the ground with the superhero He can be seen performing jumps and gymnastics that would otherwise be impossible.

There is a TikTok of someone using this glitch to jump up a skyscraper, and below is a compilation of various players using the glitch in-game.

Infinity Ward has yet to add this glitch to the game's Known Issues board, probably because Raven Software has been helping to solve a string of Warzone 2 problems that have popped up since launch. Nevertheless, bugs aside, MW2 has been mostly good so far, and our reviewers rate it the best mainline installation in the series in years.
