Devolver Digital Releases "Athletic Club" Indie Apparel

With the holiday season almost upon us, eager people around the world will be looking for great gifts (opens in new tab), and if you're a PC gamer, you may be in a difficult market to buy for, especially if you're not tech-specific. We've gathered a collection of Black Friday deals (opens in new tab) that will help you save on great tech gifts, including new PCs, laptops, headsets, and more.

Well, then let's help them cover their boots; Devolver Digital's new line of clothing is a pretty great choice. The Devolver Athletic Club (opens in new tab) collection is a selection of sportswear for both athletes and nonathletes.

The lineup includes several t-shirts, track tops, sports socks, and some very attractive red shorts. It features custom Devolver-themed graphics by Argentine artist Alan Berry Rhys (opens in new tab). This includes a new mascot, DAC's Rooster, wearing a varsity jacket and holding a bat with a nail in it in a clear homage to one of the publisher's iconic series, "Hotline Miami."

The entire list of apparel does a really nice job of evoking a vintage sports club vibe. The rooster itself is reminiscent of an old-style cartoon mascot, enhanced by the three-color tone print on the washed-out shirt. The bottom of the listing on such a shirt also reads, "Roosters like to hurt people for sport."

Other designs flaunt the DeVolver Athletic Club name in a typical North American school-style logo.

Devolver is also working with sustainable clothing brand Two Lives for the DAC collection, which focuses on using upcycled fabrics to reduce waste and using natural fibers in renewable energy factories. Thus, it is not only a niche gift for friends, but it is also environmentally friendly.

As always with DeVolver humor, this is accompanied by a statement from their beloved CFO, Folk Parker. Says Parker, "As far as things to ask Santa for, this one seems marginally less pointless than a gym membership." 'Those shorts are a little hot. Let's face it, he may be imaginary, but he's not wrong about those shorts. Devolver Athletic Club apparel can be found at the official Devolver Merch store (opens in new tab). If socks, shirts, and booty shorts aren't your thing, there are plenty of other items to suit every gamer. In addition to clothing, there are toys, special edition games, pins, and even soundtracks for devolver titles like "Cult of The Lamb" (opens in new tab) and "Death's Door." (opens in new tab) [13]
