If you're not ready to buy a DSLR camera to take your best photos while streaming or meeting for the fifth time today, check out PC Gamer's favorite webcam, the Elgato Facecam. It's endorsed by PC Gamer's Jorge, who gives it an 88 out of 100 in his review.

The Elgato Facecam is on sale right now on Amazon for $139.99 (opens in a new tab), a $30 savings. While not the biggest discount you might find when looking for the best webcam (opens in new tab), the Elgato Facecam more than makes up for it. While a bit overexposed, it comes with uncompressed 1080p 60fps video, fixed focus, and solid Camera Hub software to help you adjust camera settings to your liking.

The short version, without getting too technical, is that all of these cool features give you a final video output with fewer artifacts, and you don't have to reduce resolution or frame rate to use extra software like OBS. It is also small, so there is no need to point a huge, dumb camera in your face all day long. It doesn't even have a built-in microphone, so all the power is going to your face.

If you're debating between Razer's Kiyo Pro or the Facecam, I'd go with the latter; the Facecam uses Sony's STARVIS sensor, a silicon-based sensor traditionally used in security cameras that is optimized for low-light environments. Against the Kiyo Pro, the Facecam is a definite winner and is ideal for poor lighting setups. If you're looking to upgrade your streaming setup, it's worth investing in the Facecam without spending a fortune.
