As Black Friday rages on, many PC gamers are taking advantage of the opportunity to purchase the latest hardware at discounted prices and upgrade their rigs, especially with new graphics cards that bring out the best in their favorite PC games. However, you may have a hard time finding a good Black Friday graphics card deals (opens in new tab), let alone an RTX 3080 at MSRP. Don't worry. I've turned over every stone to find the best deals on the cards at the top of the Best Graphics Cards (opens in new tab) guide. (Unfortunately, I didn't find the RTX 3080 hiding in my backyard.)

As Nvidia releases the RTX 40 series cards, we should expect to see deals on the previous generation of RTX 30 series cards during the holidays. the RTX 4080 (open in new tab) is considerably larger than the RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 Ti It outperforms them by a margin, but it is also considerably more expensive: the RTX 4080 has an MSRP of $1,599, while a new RTX 3080 usually costs $699.

In other words, these previous generation GPUs are more attractive. Retailers have been selling RTX 3080s for the past year or so for well above MSRP, sometimes twice as much, but they are finally dropping the list price to $699 and calling it the Black Friday sales season. Disgusting, isn't it?

Notice that I said "new" RTX 3080. This is because there are tons of used and refurbished RTX 3080 GPUs available from third-party sales on Newegg and Amazon for $525-$600. We have no idea what these cards were used for in their previous lives, so we'll do our best to avoid temptation. In particular, GPU mining of cryptocurrencies has recently declined. This means that former miners are dumping their heavily used cards onto the used market.

Thankfully, I was able to find an inexpensive RTX 3080 on both Amazon and Newegg that is worth a look. So here are the RTX 3080 GPUs I've found that are as close to or below the $699 MSRP as possible.

The cheapest one I have found so far is the Gigabyte Aorus RTX 3080 Master 10GB GPU for $659 (open in new tab), which is actually below MSRP. Unfortunately, as of this writing, it is sold out. However, it is worth clicking on Newegg's Auto Notify and watching for restocking of the item throughout the weekend.

The triple-fan Peladn Gaming RTX 3080 is currently available for $699 (opens in new tab). That's only $20 less than the regular price, but even this slight discount makes it the cheapest RTX 3080 we have in stock right now.

This $732 (open in new tab) Zotac Gamin RTX 3080 OC 10GB actually just dropped over $100 to this price early last week, and Amazon seems to have plenty in stock.

Now, this Maxsun RTX 3080 Icraft 10GB, which was on sale earlier today for $699, has oddly skyrocketed to $884 (open in new tab), and it's quite possible that the price will drop as part of Newegg's Cyber Monday sales drive.

The Yeston RTX 3080 10GB is one of the best-looking RTX 3080s you can buy right now, at $769 (opens in new tab). It's about $300 less than the price it normally sells for, and it looks cherry-picked and nice. FYI, this GPU won't be available until the end of the month, so this is a pre-order.
