Monitors beware, the best OLED gaming TVs will be over $500 cheaper on Cyber Monday.

This is a lot of fun. If you're looking for a great Cyber Monday deal on a TV (opens in new tab), look no further: the LG C2 OLED is the best gaming TV, usually $1,500, but Walmart (opens in new tab) has it reduced by a whopping $500. A TV like this is an absolute steal, even if the Black Friday price is another $100 less.

This 4K 120Hz screen is an all-rounder, and its lack of a backlight means that HDR movies and games can be enjoyed undisturbed in dark rooms without the unnatural effects found on other LCD screens. However, the LG C2 OLED comes with a wealth of gaming features for those who use it as a PC monitor, plus a few extras.

G-Sync, FreeSync, variable refresh rates, the quick response of the OLED panel, and four HDMI 2.1 ports make it a great alternative to a PC monitor. What's more, it's not so big that it won't fit on your desk; at 42 inches, it's not small, but it won't take up a lot of office space.

If you get into skill-based competitive games, especially shooters, you'll only have yourself to blame if you get riddled with bullets. With high refresh rates, classically low response times on OLED panels, and low input lag, it all comes down to your reflexes.

I am becoming very jealous of my current TV. [The LG C2 does not support HDR10+, and while the latest models have improved brightness, smaller models like the 42" do not. Basically, the pixel density is too high to see any benefit from improved brightness. For this reason, a larger TV is needed. But if you plan to use this instead of a PC monitor, you should stick with 42 inches. Still, the screen is great.
