The Nvidia Shield is a powerful little kit that doubles as a streaming device and PC-to-TV gaming machine, and is also the best way to enjoy GeForce Now in 4K HDR. If you use it just for streaming, it's a cutting-edge product that allows you to enjoy high-fidelity, high-resolution streaming from anywhere, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Plex servers. If you like watching images on the wall, you can use it with a projector: play Dark Tide on the Nvidia Shield and it will be projected on the Big O Vision.

Don't worry about quality-of-life support, as it still gets regular updates; at $125, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better streaming device. [It was recently upgraded to make it more rugged against its natural enemies, toddlers and dogs. What more could you want in a portable streaming device?
