Not too extravagant or outlandish as far as my setup goes, but the best audio equipment I personally own. This Sennheiser/Skeet combo is my personal setup for listening to hi-fi music, and I have absolute faith in its tone, clarity, and depth.

Above I mentioned the Drop HD 6XX. This is basically a modified version of the original HD 650, but (like now) often much cheaper. With nearly identical construction and drivers, and a different midnight blue finish, you should definitely check out the HD 6XX first.

Amazon has the original HD 650 for $317.46 (opens in new tab). I honestly don't see any reason not to save some cash on the HD 6XX, but if you have a hefty Amazon credit or just like the classics, this is the headset I personally own. I'm in the UK, so the original HD 650 was easier to get than the Drop's version.

The HD 660 S is another notable product. It is a slightly modified HD 650 (if it ain't broke, don't fix it), but with a sharper profile. It is currently priced a bit higher than the HD 6XX, but just a few days ago it was down to a record low of $230 (opens in new tab). So we may see the same thing happen again as a Cyber Monday headphone sale. That said, it's still a better price than the HD 6XX, and these are really similar headphones. But there are options.

But I can't ignore my DAC/amp combo; Schiit may be a silly name, but it's really good audio equipment.
