Wait till you get $700 off this RTX 3080 gaming PC for Cyber Monday.

Building your own PC is great, but there are some things you just don't want to do. The older I get, the more I can relate to that feeling.) If that's the case, I recommend this Skytech Blaze 3.0, available at Newegg for $1,700 (opens in a new tab).

The Skytech Blaze 3.0 is built around two very impressive pieces of hardware: an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU running at 3.8GHz and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 with 10GB of GDDR6X RAM (opens in new tab) GPU, which is still a very powerful GPU, although the RTX 3080 is no longer king now that the RTX 40 series has been launched. The Ryzen 7 5800X (opens in new tab), on the other hand, offers great gaming performance on par with what Intel offers. The one issue we had with this product is that it doesn't quite match Intel's Core 17 10700K CPU in terms of price to power, but that's not really an issue here. [Meanwhile, storage is provided by a 1TB NVMe SSD, which can be easily expanded with additional drives (see Cyber Monday SSD info (opens in new tab)). An AIO water-cooled cooler is also included to keep the CPU running at the proper temperature, which is appreciated at this price.

And since this is a gaming PC, it also boasts all the necessary illuminated adornments, including a Metallicgear Neo Air case and three RGB dual-ring fans to keep the air flowing. The package also includes a "gaming keyboard and mouse," but does not indicate what exactly they are: it could be the Corsair K100 (opens in new tab), or it could be what the heck this is (opens in new tab). Either way, you can certainly get started with these products, but at some point down the road, you might want to be prepared to purchase more personalized peripherals.

At $1,699, it's not the cheapest gaming PC we've come across, but if you're looking for an RTX 3080 unit, "cheap" is probably not your top priority anyway. And for an all-in-one dive into 4K gaming (or 1440p if you prefer performance (open in new tab) over all-out eye candy), the Blaze 3.0 is definitely a unit worth considering.
