Poorly lit streamers can take advantage of Cyber Monday webcam discounts!

Streamers who hate lighting, rejoice, Amazon is offering the Razer Kiyo Pro webcam for $87.99 on Cyber Monday (opens in new tab). But who can say no to this $12 price cut?

Terrible lighting is the bane of streamers. Not every office or bedroom has space for lighting, and dim desk lamps are not enough. The Kiyo Pro has a decent light sensor built in to deal with dim lighting.

In my review last year (opens in new tab), I was generally quite impressed when I saw it in use. It is a step up from Kiyo's previous interactions with built-in ring lights. The ability to produce bright, clear images in a room with minimal light sources is a game changer and why the Kiyo Pro is one of the best webcams you can buy right now (opens in new tab).

The only problem with this feature is that colors tend to get whiter as you increase the brightness. And speaking of colors, the Kiyo Pro's factory settings offer no advantage: the settings in Razer Synapse (autofocus is still off!) ), and you'll need to spend a fair amount of time tweaking them.

Other features of the Kiyo Pro include HDR, 1080p resolution (60 fps), and a wide-angle lens with a 103-degree FOV. While ideal for streamers, we found it equally useful for those who need a solid webcam to work from home or those who suffer from poor lighting.

The redesigned Kiyo Pro is an excellent 1080p webcam, but its $200 price tag made it hard to recommend when it first came out. However, at under $100, it is the best low-light webcam you can find on Cyber Monday, as long as you are willing to spend the time to get the settings right.
