What a great deal, $750 off the RX 6700 XT gaming PC with Core i7 and DDR5.

Now sitting in second place in our Best Gaming PCs (open in new tab) guide, this is the exact configuration we chose to represent Dell's Alienware machines. New cards and CPUs are coming out now, but this configuration will still be around for a while, and the fact that the Alienware Aurora R13 is now $1,200 (open in new tab) instead of the usual $1,950 is just off the charts. Ha, you get the idea, right?

Terrible jokes aside, we chose this configuration for our guide because while it's a little short on storage, it's still well below the maximum we'd recommend for a RX 6700 XT gaming PC on Black Friday. It's not even Black Friday yet, according to the instructions in our How to Find the Best Gaming PC on Black Friday (opens in new tab) guide.

Anyone who has ever purchased a gaming PC knows that Dell Alienware is a brand that tends to sell at a premium price. Finding such a machine on sale for $750 off would be a bit perplexing.

And genuinely, it seems unlikely.

The CPU Dell paired with the 12GB AMD RX 6700 XT (opens in new tab) is an Intel Core i7 12700F, a 12-core, 20-thread monster clocked at up to 5GHz in turbo mode. Both will contribute to your gaming prowess at 1080p, 1440p, and even 4K if you are willing to lower the settings a bit.

This CPU is also great for rendering and productivity tasks, especially when paired with 16GB of dual-channel DDR5-4400 RAM. The only drawback is the SSD. At least an NVMe SSD, but given the size of modern games, 512GB is a bit small, but it would be worth adding an extra NVMe SSD in a spare M.2 slot.

At the very least, with discounts this good, you'll be able to afford a cheeky upgrade; if you plan to beef up the storage on your Aurora R13, check out our Black Friday SSD deals (opens in new tab).
