Streamer weeps as he achieves consecutive no-hitters in all "Soulsborne" games.

After 120 days of trying and multiple restarts, streamer dinossindgeil (opens in new tab), aka Dino, cried tears of joy yesterday when he became the second record holder to complete "God Run 3: Demon's Souls" (remake), "Dark SOULS" all, "Bloodborne", "SEKIRO", and "Elden Rings" with no hits.

The rules were simple: Dino had to play every game, without DLC, without taking a single hit. The only caveat was that falling damage did not count, so Dino could jump off high ledges repeatedly to take advantage of rings that buffed his damage even if his HP was low. If an enemy hurt Dino, Dino would have to go back to square one in Demon's Soul. As you can imagine, the pain when that happened was considerable.

When Dino started playing 120 days ago, he had only played Elden Ring for a few months before returning to other Soulsborn games. As someone who still sometimes writes "2020" when filling out forms, this sounds quite magical.

God Run 3, as you might guess, is the third installment of the Soulsborn God Run. The first God Run consisted of Demon's Souls, the Dark Souls series, and Bloodborne, the second added Sekiro, and the third added Elden Ring to the already grueling ordeal.

This is the second time that God Run 3 has been completed, at least on a stream; in September, a Spanish streamer called BushidoYu also accomplished the feat, albeit with several breaks as Dino would marathon the game for hours each day. Dino actually created a very cooperative reaction video (opens in new tab) to BushidoYu's run, and other streamers challenging The God Run 3 remarked that "what they are doing is amazing and they deserve a run like this too."

FromSoft games have a long and proud tradition of absolutely ridiculous challenge runs. Only a month after its release, players have already completed the Level 1 run (open in new tab) of The Elden Ring, and it was only last month that streamers had already beaten the game with only one hand, using a dance pad (open in new tab). It's nice to know that no matter how skilled you feel you are at playing these games, there is always a clown with a super abundance of talent and patience.
