Destiny 2 (open in new tab) players love to complain, and over the past few years, many of them have complained about the armor sets released for the game's second seasonal PvP event, Iron Banner A common complaint among SF fashionistas is that "the Destiny 1 set was better looking."

In Destiny 1, the Iron Banner armor was inspired by medieval knights, a style befitting the Iron Lords of the post-Collapse Dark Ages.

Destiny 2's Iron Banner set, on the other hand, draws inspiration from further afield, such as the samurai-themed Iron Remembrance set, which leans toward the sequel's more specific armor design philosophy.

For those stuck in the past, there is good news next season: the Iron Banner set from Destiny 1's takedown era will be available in Destiny 2.

This new (read: new) armor set will be among the Iron Banner rewards for Season 19, replacing the Forerunner pieces that have been available for the past year. Frankly, this is great news for hunters.
