Sims 4 glitch that infected a plague of hatred, to be fixed in "early December".

Since the early October patch, many people's Sims have been a real piece of work, acting like a bunch of alley cats, scrapping each other, even if they had perfect little angelic property sheets. But there is light at the end of the tunnel: EA has stated via its The Sims Direct Communications (opens in new tab) support account on Twitter that a fix is coming in "early December." [Simville (Simlandia? Simmistan? Sims live in SimCity?) s water supply, as if something was mixed in with the water supply. Characters of otherwise gentle dispositions are lashing out at each other and entire families are being torn apart by this epidemic of grumpiness and disrespectful behavior.

According to the Sims Community website (opens in new tab), Sims with the newly added "Loyalty" trait seem to be immune to the bad vibe; EA has not confirmed the exact cause, but the addition of this trait seems to be related to the collective hysteria of the Sims.

EA originally planned to release a patch to fix the problem today, November 18, but it appears that the development of the patch has taken longer than expected, and next week is the US Thanksgiving vacation, which no doubt further complicates matters.

Dear God, the sims are still infected with a plague of hatred, and they will be plunged into Thanksgiving dinner family fights and political squabbles.
