General
A Chance for Peace In Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0's Gulag, players can declare a truce.

Warzone 2.0 will introduce major changes to the second chance system ahead of launch, bringing PvE elements and optional co-op opportunities to the new Gulag. 1vs1 duels will be gone (for now), replaced by randomly formed two-player teams. Players will no longer receive random weapons and will instead have to loot high powered guns from the center of the arena.

Gulag also has a pseudo-Co-op overhaul (open in new tab), as Warzone 2.0 is betting big on putting bots into maps and modes. As the battle drags on, the camp guards (high-performance AI combatants) join the fight. Defeating the guards will earn all four of them a ticket back to Al Mazrah. They can either kill the other prisoners as usual or join forces with the guards.

Failure to defeat Jailer will result in the elimination of all players, so either choice should be made; Infinity Ward has not revealed details of what combat with Jailer will be like, but one can speculate that Jailer will probably be one of the armored It probably resembles the armored juggernauts (opens in new tab) that are seen throughout the campaign.

There is also no word on how coordination between the two teams will take place, and we can only speculate that both squads will need to verbally agree through Warzone's new proximity chat. If Activision Blizzard's new anti-toxicity tool (opens in new tab) is confident enough to implement a room where four random Warzone players can be made to lie to each other, it must be top-of-the-line.

Along with major changes to the loadout and inventory system (opens in new tab), the overhaul of the gulag, inspired by games large and small like Destiny 2 and Escape From Tarkov (opens in new tab) by Infinity Ward, Warzone 2.0 shows that they are willing to take risks.

Personally, having to broker the agreement of three other players to initiate an optional PvE boss fight sounds hysterical, especially with all the opportunities for deception and betrayal. how Warzone 2.0, which will be released on November 16, will differentiate itself from its predecessor It will be interesting to see how it will differentiate itself from its predecessor.
