Action RPG "Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr" to Feature Battle Sisters This Month

Neocore's 2018 action RPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr launched with the option of an Imperial Inquisitor with a background as an assassin, psyker, or crusader. A year later, Prophecy Expandalone added a fourth option, Tech Adept, and Neocore continues to update what is clearly going to be a live service game with seasonal content, with the Sororitas Class DLC (open in new tab ) announced that it will be adding a playable Sister of Battle to its roster this month.

The Sister of Battle Inquisitor has a special ability called Acts of Faith, which can be powered up by sainthood, allowing her to use holy deeds and more powerful special attacks. She has a resource called fath to use for these abilities, and when it runs out, her time as an embodied saint ends.

The DLC will also add new weapons such as the Flamer, Blessed Blade, Power Maul, and Power Halberd, as well as more perks, passive skills, and enchantments.

Warhammer 40,000's resident gun-toting nun has been active a lot lately; although she co-starred in the final Dawn of War expansion in 2008, Adepta Sororitas has been absent from 40K's video games since then, but last year, "Battle Sister" and got her own VR game, Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sector, a turn-based tactical game, as an allied unit (which will become a full faction in the upcoming DLC), and in the CRPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, being developed by Owlcat. Sister of Battle appears as one of the party members.

The Sororitas class DLC for Inquisitor - Martyr will be released on November 28, just two days before Fatshark's co-op shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Er, good luck with that.
