Minecraft in "Halo 3" is Destructible and Fun
[Halo 3 as Minecraft is one of them. Created by longtime Halo and Souls modder InfernoPlus, Halocraft is a multiplayer map pack that runs in Halo: The Master Chief Collection and replaces four maps with destructible Minecraft maps replacing them with the following.

This is perhaps the most impressive aspect of the game: while the "Halo" side works flawlessly, the interaction with the "Minecraft" side blows blocks away. Weapon fire, melee damage, and grenades all damage the landscape at various ranges, and the map is built around this in a variety of ways. One map has a lot of easily breakable glass panels on top of deadly falls, and you can imagine how such a match would play out.

I just want to pick up the hammer and watch the world burn. Or at least to see it crumble beneath my feet.

I saw this mod on YouTuber UberNick's channel. You can watch him play a match with this mod, or download Halocraft from the InfernoPlus patrons; Halo MCC is not designed to have destructible maps, but it almost looks like it does here. The video below shows the passion that went into this work and outlines some of the hurdles InfernoPlus faced along the way and how to rig around them.

You can check out InfernoPlus' other mods on their Youtube channel, and if you're more interested in Minecraft, you can check out a list of Minecraft's best mods here.
