TikTok is currently discussing the sexiness of the Call of Duty character Ghost. I never thought I would be writing about this today, but my TikTok timeline left me no choice. I saw multiple videos of people craving Ghost, people against craving Ghost, and people impersonating Ghost. Even though Halloween has passed, there is a lot of ghost content out there.

This is happening because of one conversation that takes place in the new "Modern Warfare 2" that has caught the attention of people who like strong and scary military men. Ghost and Soap have this exchange:

Soap Ghost: show me your face: Ghost: negative: Ghost: ugly: the opposite.

As a result of this refreshing exchange, TikTok was flooded with people using this line to act out Ghost's emotions at that moment. Some women dressed sexily, using everyday items as sniper rifles, while other men dressed in combat gear and showing off their clean jawlines to thirst for the audience." The "exact opposite" has had quite an effect.

But not everyone agrees with the sexy ghost. When Ghost says "the exact opposite," some people make it sound as if he is smiling or smirking, as if he knows he is good-looking, but avid "Call of Duty" fans counter that Ghost is just being sarcastic. There are quite a few people who are genuinely annoyed because they think that Ghost being good-looking has ruined his character (open in new tab), because it doesn't match the Ghost they have seen in previous games, and new players gatekeep their love for him by saying they don't know him doing. The other is just vibing with the idea of having sex with a guy in a skull mask. Excellent.

Thankfully, this is not the same Ghost voice actor who was previously removed from the role after accusations of sexism (opens in new tab). Therefore, I declare that it is okay for anyone to think Ghost is sexy. There are worse things than fantasizing about having an affair with a ruthless killer. Right? Ghost is still Ghost. Maybe you can find your own pleasure in thirsting for a Modern Warfare 2 villain, you know?
