Newegg is offering the MSI Aegis ZS gaming desktop with AMD Radeon RX6600 for just $759 (opens in new tab). This system normally costs $1,199, but thanks to a recent price cut and a $200 mail-in rebate, you'll save $440 when all is said and done.

The MSI Aegis ZS runs on the reliable Zen 3 chip, AMD Ryzen 5600G and Radeon RX 6600, and its gaming performance is roughly between the RTX 3050 and RTX 3060. It also comes with 16GB RAM and 500GB SSD as memory and storage solutions, but these upgrades will need to be considered later.

For under $800 you can get a 1080p gaming rig that can produce fairly respectable frame rates on medium to high settings for most current games, and the Ryzen 5600G CPU and Radeon RX6600 are both solid entry-level components and a good base to start from if you are looking to upgrade in a few years. The full-size case is large enough to accommodate a larger GPU if you are looking to purchase one of the AMD RDNA 3 graphics cards due out next week (opens in new tab).

If I could change one thing right away, I would replace the SSD with something higher capacity and faster, like a 1TB WB Black SN700 SSD (opens in new tab). As mentioned earlier, this PC gives us enough of a foundation to upgrade components over time
