Newegg is offering an ABS Gladiator gaming PC with RTX 3070 TI for $1700 (opens in new tab). That's an $800 savings over the regular price, and Newegg has several new PC games to go with this high-end rig.

The ABS Gladiator packs quite a bit of horsepower under the hood, with an Intel Core i7 12700KF CPU and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. It also has 16GB of DDR 3000MHz RAM and a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD for memory and storage. While this is not the fastest memory and storage combination for a high-end specification, it should be adequate, especially at this price.

Deals on PCs with Core i7 12700KF CPUs are not often seen. This is an excellent gaming processor and more power efficient than the Ryzen 7 5800X.

The RTX 3070 Ti (open in new tab) is a decent enough GPU, although it is closer to the RTX 3070 than the 3080 in performance. At 1440p on high settings, it delivers impressive frame rates (triple digits in most cases). If you want to step into the high-resolution lifestyle, you'll find performance there at 4K. Don't forget to get a high-resolution gaming monitor (opens in new tab) to take advantage of this graphics power.

A closer look at the system reveals at least a total of eight USB ports (4 x USB 2.0, 3 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 3.2) and one USB Type-C port on the back. I personally hate to build a PC without a USB Type-C port on the front, but there are enough ports for all gadgets, it's 2022.

More importantly, the DeepCool Matrexx 50 mid-tower case has enough room for a large GPU and airflow for easy temperature management. Unlike its Intel CPU partners, this GPU is a power-hungry monster that runs quite hot. So keeping things cool will save you from future headaches.
