General
Gotham Knights' system requirements are surprisingly stringent.

Recommended system requirements for Gotham Knights have been announced ahead of its October 21 launch. The minimum requirements were announced late last week, and it turns out that at least an RTX 2070 is required if you want to enjoy co-op play at high 1080p settings and smooth frame rates.

You'll also need a CPU equal to or better than an i7-10700K or Ryzen 5 5600X and 16GB RAM. For reference, the recommended specs for playing Cyberpunk 2077 at high 1080p settings are a GTX 1070 (or RX 590) and an i7-4790 (or Ryzen 3 3200G).

In other words, Gotham Knights demands a lot, and that's before the question of 1440p or 4K comes up. We will have to wait until launch to find out what these resolutions require, not to mention higher frame rates. [Last week it was announced that "Gotham Knights" will run at 30 fps on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, with a 60 fps performance mode not available. This is a significant departure from the trend of this console generation, which has been to offer a choice between higher resolution, higher quality, and smoother frame rates. Earlier this year, Warner Bros. announced that "Gotham Knights" would skip the previous generation of consoles, which makes more sense if you keep this system requirement in mind.

The minimum and recommended requirements for Gotham Knights are as follows:

OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU Intel Core i5-9600K or Ryzen 5 3600RAM: 8GBGPU: GTX 1660 Ti or Radeon RX 590 [9 10] OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7-10700K or Ryzen 5 5600XRAM: 16GBGPU: RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5700XT

Gotham Knights will add a 4-player co-op mode after launch. It will require multiple plays to see the full storyline; in May, Rich opined that the gameplay footage ("the game looks rough," he wrote) indicated that the game would merit another delay, but it will actually be released four full days early! . So, Richard, best regards.
