We never thought we'd see the day when Persona 5 Royal would be released on a Microsoft platform. But here we are! Not only is the ultra-stylish "Kaito Grue's Moon Thief" coming to Xbox and PC, but this JRPG will also be available on Game Pass from day one.

"Persona 5 Royal" is genuinely one of the best games I've ever played and will have at least one song burned into your brain by the time you finish playing it. It's a great turn-based JRPG, but it requires a three-digit time investment to fully experience. Oscar Taylor-Kent gave Persona 5 Royal a 94 in his review (opens in new tab) and wrote: "It may be hard to go back to other games in this genre. The dungeons, the combat, even the hangouts at the burger joint are just awesome."

If slick animated heists aren't your thing, there are some great games coming to Game Pass throughout October: "Amnesia: Collection" and "Amnesia: Amnesia:Collection" and "Amnesia: Rebirth" will be available on October 20. Amnesia: Collection" and "Amnesia: Rebirth" will be released on October 20. I have not played all of the games, having experienced them firsthand through YouTube play videos in the early 2010s. I think "Amnesia" is one of those games that everyone should play at least once, even if you are a scaredy-cat like me. If you have already played through the "Amnesia" series, "Soma", another challenging game by the creators, will be released on the same day.

Before you get too scared, there's also Frog Detective: Frog Detective: A Whole Mystery, which takes a break from horror. It contains all three Frog Detective games. This one will be released on October 27 and also includes Gunfire Reborn and Signalis.
