McDonald's is selling "Overwatch 2" skins in Australia.

Cheers, here comes the McCheese.

Blizzard is currently offering the skin to McDonald's customers in Australia and New Zealand. It's not a combination I would instantly think of, especially for a regional item, but I'm sure the tracers love Chicken Select as much as I do at 2 am. We are basically soul sisters.

The promotion (which opens in a new tab) is currently only available through MyMacca's app and offers an Epic Rarity skin for Tracer in Overwatch 2 when you purchase a Big Mac, McChicken, or Chicken McNuggets 10-piece combo That said, a report from IGN (opens in new tab) confirms that I am not mistaken: this is an old Overwatch skin that is being repurposed for a promotion. It is still available in-game if you want to purchase it, but now that the loot boxes are gone, the only way to get it for free is through this promotion.

From the website, it appears that this promotion is running in Australia and New Zealand, due to their longstanding partnership with Overwatch esports in the region. You will receive a unique code within 48 hours of purchasing one of the above combos, which you can redeem on your Battle.net account management page. If you already have this skin, good luck! This code cannot be redeemed for currency or anything else.

This appears to be the beginning of a long collaboration between Overwatch and McDonald's, as TheGamer (opens in new tab) reports, more and more people in Australia are taking pictures of McDonald's bags with the "Overwatch 2" logo. These bags also feature heroes such as Lucio, Reinhardt, and Tracer. Will there be Overwatch toys in Happy Meals in Australia? If so, I want them. Someone mail them to me from Australia, please"
