General
This RTX 3060 gaming PC is a great value at $740.

Gaming PCs these days can be quite a splurge, especially if you want to future-proof your setup a bit by purchasing a high-end one. That said, this ROG Strix G10 is a great price for anyone looking to purchase a PC with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 (opens in new tab).

Usually, such deals have the downside of not having ideal RAM or storage that needs upgrading, but here you get a PC with everything you need. I rate the Intel Core i5 11400F (opens in new tab) as one of the best of the latest 11th generation desktop CPUs. It is also my current processor and more than adequate for the nightmarish cocktail of games I throw at it on a daily basis.

It also has 16GB of RAM, which is more than enough for most modern games, and 512GB of storage. If you like to install a lot of games at once, it will last you a while, if not indefinitely, although given the amount of space available for modern games, it may run out quickly.

Then there's the RTX 3060. The card alone usually costs $350-$400, but here you can get an entire gaming PC for just twice the price. the RTX 3060 is also an excellent graphics card, with a healthy performance boost over the 2060's predecessor.

All in all, you can get a PC that can handle 1080p games at a much lower price. If you are buying a gaming PC for the first time, you should probably start with something cheaper. I already have one, and I'm almost ready to buy one.
