Streamer beats Marenia of Elden Ring on level 1.

Mikkaa is an absolute machine. While most people spend their time trying to beat Eldenring under normal circumstances, she has done things differently. Not only did she previously beat this game single-handedly and start the level 1 game with a divine dance pad (open in new tab), but now she has used it to beat one of the toughest opponents in the game.

Yes, MissMikkaa defeated Malenia with her level 1 character, simply by switching the input profile of the pad using the dance pad and sometimes the keyboard. She posted the moment on Twitter, saying it took her 15 hours and 553 attempts.

The level of commitment was so impressive that some even noted that the streamer made fewer attempts with the dance pad than other players using a controller or keyboard and mouse.

As if the kill wasn't impressive enough, she also revealed that she only used four healing flasks during that attempt. The next step was to defeat Marikes, and MissMikkaa spent the remainder of the stream going at Marikes.

As someone who lacks too much patience and skill to patiently tackle FromSoft's library, I cannot help but be in awe and admire MissMikkaa's skill. It's always fun to see people use wild peripherals to make their games more challenging and entertaining. Earlier this year, we saw SuperLouis64, a streamer who always produces ridiculously themed controllers, beat Godric with a controller made out of bananas. His personal favorite was probably when he played "Dark Souls 3" with a ring-fitted controller and had to jog in place to move his character.

CORRECTION: The article initially stated that MissMikkaa uses the keyboard to get close to the camera, which is incorrect. She instead uses the keyboard to switch button profiles on the dance pad, and the camera is controlled by the pad.
