Vallorant's most controversial map gets a major rework

Fracture What needs to be said about Fracture that hasn't already been said? This map is one of the newer parts of Valorant, but it is also one of the most commonly dodged. This map is known for being difficult to coordinate, and unless you use communication effectively to work with your team, it can be the most miserable map to play on in the game. So Riot is trying to avoid controversy by giving Fracture a little loving polish.

If you are not familiar with Fracture, it is the most oddly shaped map in Valorant. With two attackers and the defender spawning in the middle, the defenders are forced to be much more aggressive than on other maps. If Fracture appears while the game is loading, there is a much greater chance that someone will retire than on the tropical map Breeze.

Therefore, the changes Fracture undergoes are quite significant. Let's start with the changes to B. At site B, the ramps are smoother, the jumps are gone, and the space is easier to navigate. The generator will have the small cube in the back removed and the space flattened. The biggest change here is that the arcade is much thinner, and the large chunks in the entry area have been removed, making the hallway smaller for running.

Then there's the defender spawn, where again the cubby has been removed, making it harder to hide on one side of the hall; as for the A main, the corner before entering the site has been smoothed out with a long diagonal wall and less junk, making this place easier to be aggressive

A For the site, the heavenly box has been moved to the corner, making it easier to clear.

The area around the A drop has seen the most significant changes, making it theoretically easier for attackers to assault. To this end, the drop has been moved backwards with a large cut-off, and the boxers who jump onto it to get up the drop have been replaced by curbs; the A-dish has also undergone major changes, with one of the two routes around the dish being eliminated altogether; the A-rope has been moved backwards with a large cut-off, and the boxers who jump onto it to get up the drop have been replaced by curbs. And finally, the A rope will get its own ledge to look into the site to make its position more powerful.

Riot has been tinkering with the design of recent maps in its latest patch. The newest map, Pearl, made the changes seen in Fracture a while back. Perhaps you still won't like Fracture as much as some of the other maps, but at least it should be more fun and you should be able to dodge cues less often.
