Data mining indicates that Mark Hamill will voice the Joker in "MultiVersus".

What's pretty amazing about "Multiversus" is that Warner Bros. has used almost all of the original voice actors for its diverse cast. This is remarkable attention to detail, and according to data mining, it looks like it could be even better. According to the files, it appears that Mark Hamill may reprise his role as the Joker.

Twitter leaker Laisul dropped some voice lines they found in the game. He first voiced Batman's nemesis in the 1992 series Batman: The Animated. Since then, he has returned for various animated features, including Rocksteady's "Arkham" trilogy.

The leaked audio clip is for the announcer's voice line and includes clownish quips such as "think ya lost that one, bucko," "point for the blue bozos," and "that's who you're going with?" . This may be a convincing look-alike, but the fact that Player First Games has previously promised to use the original voice actor for the "Multiversus" character suggests that Hamill is really reenacting "The Clown Prince of Crime".

While it has not yet been officially announced that the Joker will appear as a fighter, his entry was leaked in March along with other pop culture icons. If that list is correct, then Robin and Poison Ivy should also be in the mix in the future. Personally, I am more excited about Raven from Teen Titans and Neo from The Matrix.

MultiVersus got off to a bit of a rocky start, but Player First Games is making decent progress in sorting it out. As I said in my preseason review, MultiVersus has a good chance of becoming the best smash-like game on PC, and the constant tweaks, including hitbox improvements, give me hope.
