Lil Nas X video games are exactly what you think they are.

Following his chart-topping hit "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)," American rapper Lil Nas X has released "Twerk Hero," a free browser game tied to the raunchy song.

Nas released the boot-shaking rhythm game yesterday. Just don't expect it to be a bit naff.

In Twerk Hero, you grab Nas's (Nas) butt and slam it to the side of the screen. Naturally, there is extreme shaking physics in the buttocks, and Nas will occasionally turn his head and stare into your eyes.

Sadly, it's not a great rhythm game. You don't really know what triggers a hit, and you swing wildly around the poor young man's back. Also, for an unabashedly energetic song that has Nas (Nas) taking on and beheading Satan (Satan), it's a bit lackluster. Watching the arrows lazily flow across the screen with a looping MP3 in the background is no comparison.

It's a quick and dirty joke, to be sure, and it may well work. However, it is clear that Lil Nas is very online-loving and game-savvy. For example, how about a collaboration with Robert Yang, developer of homophobic games like "The Tearoom" and "Hard Lads'"?
