D&D Game "Solasta": Crown of the Magisters to Close Early Access with Next Update

You won't be able to call it "Solasta" anymore: Crown of the Magister, another RPG based on Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, currently in Early Access, will not be called "Solasta" for much longer as developer Tactical Adventures has announced that the next update will be version 1.0 It won't be called that for much longer, as the company announced.

Solasta has been in Early Access since October 2020, and regular updates have added features such as the Dungeon Maker, which allows players to design their own adventures. When Solasta's Early Access ends, the Dungeon Maker will remains in beta, but version 1.0 will come with a full campaign, additional side quests, a level cap of 10 instead of the current 8, Steam Workshop integration for sharing user-created dungeons, and a full orchestral soundtrack. Post-launch support will include ongoing updates to Dungeon Maker and free DLC to add the Sorcerer class.

Solasta uses the current 5th edition, which is an archaic take on D&D minus things like tieflings and warlocks, and interprets the rules more literally than Baldur's Gate 3. That said, there's room for more than one approach to the most popular RPG on the street, and I'll definitely be playing both, available on Steam.
