Tomorrow's Hearthstone patch will nerf the Lunacy deck, Jandice, Penfringer, and more.

Last week, Alec Dawson, Hearthstone's lead designer, said that the balance changes necessary to address the insanity of Hearthstone's meta would be coming soon, with more details to be announced in the coming days. And now, in a published blog post, those details have been revealed. Its cost will double from 2 to 4 mana, hopefully enough to prevent No Minion Mage from becoming a regular nuisance on the ladder. (Currently, 22.6% of all decks contain Deck of Lunacy.)

While the card is currently infuriating players, Paladins are actually at the top of the win column. 3]

A neutral "neutral" with powerful defensive capabilities that make aggro decks basically useless. Watch Post" cards, both Far Watch Post and Mor'shan Watch Post take a hit, losing one point of health (4 to 3 and 5 to 4 points, respectively). However, the more expensive "Crossroads Watch Post" remains intact.

Pen Flinger, which Ben "RidiculousHat" Goodman called "an annoying little fool that has been overstayed its welcome for too long," will now be able to target only minions, following Goodman's predicted adjustments.

The last Standard balance update affects Jandice Barov, increasing her cost from five to six mana; her ability to summon two random minions that cost five mana remains unchanged; her ability to summon two minions that cost five mana remains unchanged; and her ability to summon two minions that cost five mana remains unchanged. According to the patch notes, "We do not intend to dilute Jandice's pool of summoned minions, nor do we want to rely on her balance."

The 20.0.2 patch will be released on April 13, or tomorrow. Here are the changes.
