Oculus will showcase a number of games next week, including Lone Echo 2

Oculus has announced that it will host its first showcase dedicated to gaming next week. Lone Echo 2, Pistol Whip, and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge will be on display. In addition to these titles, there are some "surprises" in store.

Lone Echo 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the 2017 space adventure developed by Ready at Dawn, which was acquired by Oculus last year; Pistol Whip received a major update in the form of "2089" in November but will actually be released first-person shooter. No one knows what this new exhibit will look like.

"This is the first event entirely dedicated to great games across the Oculus Platform," the Oculus announcement reads." Fans can expect new updates to fan-favorite titles, never-before-seen footage of several unannounced games, and a few surprises."

The showcase will take place on April 21 at 3 p.m. PT (6 p.m. ET / 11 p.m. CT / 8 a.m. ET April 22) on Twitch and YouTube.
