Microsoft's Xbox wireless controller is one of the best PC controllers available. If you can make it with an older generation model, you can get it now at an attractive discount.

This is $30 less than the list price and $20 less than the regular Xbox Wireless Controller retail price. The only real downside is that this is not the latest revision that appeared with the Xbox Series X, which has the same revised D-pad, shared buttons, and a few other little things as the Xbox One Series Elite Series.

Still, the previous generation model remains an excellent controller. It has proven to feel good in the hand, be reliable, and work well with PC games, with native support for nearly all games, whether they use Steam for input mapping or the Windows Xinput API.
