Barotrauma" Update Enhances New Player Experience and Monster Count

Submarine survival on an alien world is Barotrauma's forte, and it's been a while since I checked out up to 16 doomed souls working together in a submarine in the alien waters of Europa.

Gladly, it's still as difficult as it was when it was first released, really difficult and really terrifying!

Thankfully, the developers are adding to the experience for new players. The upcoming "Embrace the Abyss" update will include contextual hints on complexities, more information on the "stop me if you know this one-info" tab, a new interactive preview for navigating the submarine, and a mission difficulty indicator will be added. A health bar has also been added to bosses!

One major change is the ability to respawn in the middle of a round in the multiplayer campaign with limited respawns. This is huge!

Of course, this is still a cooperative survival horror game. As one might expect from its name, the Edge of the Abyss update also adds two new deep-sea monsters deep underground in the safe and cute upper levels. (The upper levels are neither safe nor pretty.)

Also, creeping radiation (fun!) ), as well as new features for the campaign, such as the need to upgrade your submarine before moving to a new area. There are also revamped side missions, new missions, and an abandoned outpost occupied by wildlife and outlaws.

"Barotrauma" is available on Steam for $30 and is in Early Access.
