Sword and Parkour Battle Royale "Naraka": Bladepoint Attracts 120,000 People for Testing

"Naraka" Open Beta: The open beta of "Naraka: Bladepoint," released this week, hit 120,000 simultaneous players earlier today during the test period and is a character-driven, character-driven game about leaping, climbing, stabbing, and transforming into a six-armed god. It was a very promising start for a battle royale game. [Beta testing is available on Naraka: Bladepoint's Steam page, where anyone with a Steam account can request access.

Naraka: Bladepoint is a 60-player battle royale, featuring parkour-style grappling hooks to move between vertical objects and third-person melee combat with a focus on combos and counterattacks. While there are plenty of ranged weapons in the game, the battle system is clearly dedicated to melee combat. There are five characters, each with unique abilities.

Currently on the Steam forums, players are complaining about the bot matches in the first few rounds and the three-player all-healer teams. In other words, it's shaping up to be almost like any other battle royale. The open beta will last until April 26.
