Smash "Binding of Isaac" and "Dark Souls" to get "Devil Slayer" - Raksasi

Introducing a fascinating indie game: Devil Slayer - Raksasi, a top-down action roguelike that combines the dungeon crawling of "The Binding of Isaac" with the timing-based combat of "Soulslike"! It is. The developer, GlassesCatGames, is a three-person studio in Guangzhou, China, that has been in Early Access for the past several years and just released this week.

Is it as good as "Dark Souls" or "Binding of Isaac"? Those two are the best games of the last decade. But still quite entertaining.

If you're eager for a running and building roguelike crawler, you'll find what you're looking for here. Each character has a different weapon, which can be customized and skill-upgraded through multiple playthroughs. In addition, the game features a woman with a big hammer and an ass. I like her.

So far, Devil Slayer has a lot of tricky stuff to do, and I appreciate the fairly low price, $9.45 instead of $12, on sale through April 29. As you progress, your progress really speeds up. There are currently six chapters, with a total of 150 different enemies. A seventh chapter, an epilogue, is also in the works.

You can find Devil Slayer - Raksasi on Steam.
