This indie game reminds us what it was like to be in touch with others.

When was the last time you hugged someone, patted them on the back, or just shook their hand vigorously?

Icelandic developer Torfi may not be able to completely fill that void, but their latest short game is a nostalgic reminder of the days when businessmen could give each other a hearty handshake in the office. Against a backdrop of endless ochre, you lead one little suited companion to another. As you get close enough to reach out your hand, they raise theirs and grab it firmly.

Once the deal is done, your new business partner follows behind you. You walk through the potted field in search of a new merger partner, looking for a new identical businessman to join your startup with a vigorous wave of the wrist.

I haven't worked in an actual office in years, but I imagine this is how business is done in the office.

This is a very impressive distraction, and as far as I can tell, there is no end to the number of new co-workers you can acquire and company officers you can add until your hands are completely worn out.A Firm Handshake is available for free download at Itch.
