A new Valheim mod seeks to save expeditions the trouble of having to stop for repairs by creating mobile repair stations by strapping a crafting table to a cart.

Released last night on Nexus Mods (spotted by RPS), rolopogo's Crafty Carts introduces three new carts, effectively mobile versions of Workbench, Forge and Stonecutter stations. Each requires the same amount of resources as the fixed ones, plus 10 bronze nails for all the moving parts.

Like regular tables, buildings can be erected in a radius around these carts, allowing them to set up temporary base camps while on the move. Note that according to the comments, these work carts seem to be a little more prone to tipping over than regular carts. Fortunately, the cart has a built-in repair service.

For Vikings who have a severe case of wanderlust and would rather travel the world than settle down at home, it's a good addition (although if you really want to travel in style, I'd recommend this nifty little hot rod). For those who want to put down roots, Valheim's "Hearth & Home" update will further enhance the game's building mechanics.
