Call of Duty: Warzone Patch Fixes Verdansk Map Glitch and Endgame Screaming Match

A small update has been delivered to Call of Duty: Warzone, fixing a very large issue.

The deafening screeching and loud cacophony that was occurring at the end of Plunder matches has been fixed, and open voice chat has been disabled. According to the patch notes, "This was supposed to be applied with the release of Season 3 last week," but it appears that someone forgot to press the button at that time.

The "Hunt for Alder" limited time event issue has also been fixed. Players were having problems with completions not registering and were unable to get the legendary skin. Also, intel would spawn outside of the playable area, which has also been fixed.

Follow Adler! is actually only supposed to run until today, April 28; Raven Software acknowledged this in a tweet, stating that they are "considering several options and will update soon."

Importantly, a bug that allowed players to sneak under the new Verdansk '84 map and rack up kills without being noticed has been fixed. The exploit had been bothering players, and players had expressed their frustration with the bug on reddit.

The full updated patch notes can be read here, and include small fixes for weapon and blueprint bugs; Warzone just entered its third season last week, with a rather anticlimactic nuclear attack in Verdansk.
