Gina Gershon ("Showgirls," "Face/Off," "P.S. I Love You") has joined the cast of the "Borderlands" film as Moxie, Deadline reported. Other newly signed actors for the Eli Roth adaptation include Charles Bavalora ("Black Mirror," "The Legend of Tarzan") as big game hunter Lord Hammerlock, Cheyenne Jackson ("American Horror Story," "30 Rock") as "Jakobs" (cowboy gun manufacturer Wainwright Jakobs) and Bobby Lee ("A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas") as a new character named Larry.

"I am very excited to be working with this wonderful, top-notch cast," Ross is quoted as saying. And it's a great cast that has come together to make "Borderlands" great. I love movies where every character matters, and that can only be accomplished by a great cast. Each and every one of these talented actors will bring something special to the film."

Moxie is a recurring character in the Borderlands series, debuting in the first DLC as the fighting announcer "Mad Moxie" and returning in later games as the owner of basically every bar. She is also the mother of Scooter and Ellie, the series' mechanics.
