Assassin's Creed Valhalla" may be headed to scorching Muspelheim

Assassin's Creed Valhalla may be preparing to leave the cold winds of ancient England for a more hellish landscape.

This reference was spotted by French "Assassin's Creed" leaker J0nathan (via Eurogamer). However, if not, it could be included as part of the next two DLCs or as part of the third DLC, reportedly named "Meteor."

Indeed, Ubisoft has produced some impressive concept art for Muspelheim, and "Valhalla" currently allows players to travel to more fantastical realms such as Jotunheim and Asgard. However, the currently announced DLC lineup is more down-to-earth, taking Eivor to somewhat less mythical realms such as Ireland and Paris.

This first expansion was supposed to be released last month, but was pushed back to May to allow Ubisoft to "deliver a more polished experience." The second half of the season pass, The Siege of Paris, is scheduled for later this year, and Ubisoft has not said what its plans are beyond 2021.

It is unusual for an "Assassin's Creed" film to continue delivering DLC so late after launch, and the leaked information is very minor. However, one hopes that one day we will be able to tell Aver to "go to hell."
