Last week, we introduced you to some of the cursed mods that have infected "Resident Evil Village," including one that replaced Ethan's cute baby with a white-haired, stone-cold Chris Redfield face. Horrifying, but not as horrifying as the questions this mod immediately throws up.

Sorry, folks. By popular demand, Chris Redfield has become a big, big baby.

The Baby Over Chris Face, available on Nexus Mods, is exactly what the title says. Redfield's grumpy face has been replaced with a cowering baby that looks just as menacing (if not more so) as the cash register veteran.

Modder JTeghius Kittius, who submitted the original Baby Chris mod, said he received "tons of requests" to reverse the mod. All facial animations work (except for the eyes), but she noted that she only tested them in the intro sequence and not in the post-Redfield appearance scene.

Andy K. credits Village as the first game in the series to humanize Redfield, turning him from a one-note action hero into a more nuanced character. Will this characterization work when this fleshy young man is walking around with rosy cheeks and terrifyingly huge eyes?
