Respawn nerfed Apex Legends' pesky new bow.

Respawn has suppressed the new Bocek bow in Apex Legends.

Respawn shared the changes on Twitter yesterday and then added them to all of Legacy's patch notes; Bocek, along with Spitfire LMG, were nerfed in one of the two small updates posted last night, while the rest of the hotfixes were spent fixing small issues in Arena The rest of the hotfixes were spent on fixing minor arena issues, a new hero, Valkyrie, and removing some very strange LOD bugs. Farewell, Brovaroa.

The bow was useless in my clumsy, untrained hands, but has the potential to be absolutely brutal, and has been tweaked with increased draw speed, lower body shot damage, and reduced ammo stacks to compensate. Spitfires, on the other hand, do slightly less damage per bullet, and higher-level magazines hold fewer bullets.

Respawn previously fixed a nasty bug that caused players to be dropped into battle royale alone, regardless of whether "bury teammates" was turned on or off. The servers have also recovered somewhat from the heavy hit at Legacy's launch, but as of this writing, there are still a few login glitches.

There are still some issues that need to be fixed, such as the rock collision problem on Phase Runner's arena map. However, that hasn't stopped Legacy from being a phenomenal season, helping Apex break the record for concurrent players.
