When you finish the game, what will you say? Or would you follow the lead of Skyrim player Jaeinskyrim and kill every single creature in the realm of fantasy so that there is nothing left but a cold wind?

At least, almost every living thing. That's for another time.

As discovered by PCGamesN, redditor Jaeinskyrim accomplished their dream of removing life from Skyrim this week. Players systematically cut NPCs from every village, town, city, and outpost, as well as roaming deer and wolf packs. In all, they slaughtered 2,201 humanoid NPCs and 2,400 creatures, killing a total of 4,601 people.

Of course, you can't just jump in and empty a country in Skyrim; mods (Jae cites Kill Em All and Death Awaits Us All) allow you to bypass "essential" NPCs, but common characters like guards and bandits are in-game for a few days They may respawn after a few days in the game.

However, there was an enemy whose name Jay could not kill. They had cut down the Graybeards before they knew the clearing, and they never made it to Pearl Surnax, which is at the top of the world. He could have had them travel by cheat, but Jay ultimately decided against it.

"Pearl Surnax deserved better. He is alive. But he leaves me alone."

Judging by their reddit history (which appears to be written in-character as the player's, er, wife), it took a month to complete. In more wholesome Elder Scrolls news, Skyrim gran Shirley Curry can now be modded as a companion prior to her official cameo in The Elder Scrolls 6.
