Valheim visual update turns Bournemouth trophies into a gloopy nightmare

A patch for Valheim has been released with several fixes, localization updates, and visual tweaks.

It also turns the Bonemass trophy from a bone stuck in a mud sling into an absolute nightmare.

Spoiler alert: I'll show you what it looks like below, but you might want to go to where they hung it and see for yourself. The change is quite dramatic.

For comparison, here's the original Bonemus trophy:

It's an impressive relic that you wouldn't expect to take from the toughest boss in the game.

And here's the same trophy after this update:

Yes, this is Bonemus' entire head, a bunch of skulls (even the eyes are made of skulls), at least one rib, and lots of his famous toxic goop.

But wait, there's more. It moves.

Want to proudly display it on your wall? Knowing that the essence of that evil mass is flowing through my body, just using the power of Bournemouth is already sickening. I can't stand to see that guy's weird, creepy head twitching and dizzying every time I come home. I don't want to leave that guy on the sacrificial stone and never go home again. Ugh!

"Does Patch do anything else?" sure, he does something, but he can't seem to concentrate on the list because he can't stop thinking about Bonemus's glazed eyes, his slowly rippling jelly head, his popped open mouth and floppy lips.

Here are the full patch notes:
