505 Announces "Ghostrunner 2," a Cyberpunk Parkour Sequel

A sequel to One More Level's dystopian parkour game "Ghostrunner" is coming, publisher 505 Games announced earlier this week.

Like the sword-and-dagger "Mirror's Edge," "Ghostrunner" throws you into a grim neon city where all you have to do is kill goons and run away from them along the walls. One hit will kill you, so you have to use your free-running skills to dodge bullets and close the distance between you and your target. It's brutal in a good way. [Luke Kemp wrote in his review of Ghostrunner, "Ghostrunner wants to make you feel like a cybernetically enhanced badass. Tough, fair, and fun."

505 had already teased a year of additional content for Ghostrunner, including cosmetic DLC, new game modes, and a photo mode for shooting flashy kills. The game already has an extra tough hardcore mode for those who find the basic game a bit too forgiving.

But while we don't know all the details right now, it's nice to know that we'll be getting a new city for Sprint and Slaughter; Ghostrunner 2 will be available on PC and next-gen consoles, and while 505 has yet to say when, it can't be earlier than next year! It will be no earlier than next year.
