Call of Duty: Warzone" BANS over 500,000 cheaters so far.

Call of Duty: Warzone co-developer Raven Software recently tweeted that it had banned 30,000 "malicious accounts" in one day, bringing the total to "over 500,000."

Amos Hodge, associate creative director at Raven Software, previously complained about the Warzone cheaters, saying that the team is doing everything it can and is "continually updating." A reply to a tweet announcing the recent wave of bans shows that Raven Software has its work cut out for it. Players have complained about being unfairly banned because their accounts were hacked and about how easy it is to avoid account bans by simply creating a new account. in February, a blog post on the official "Call of Duty" website confirmed the existence of an internal anti-cheat program and promised that "our security and enforcement teams will implement further measures by the end of the year, both preventive and enforcement, to root out both cheaters and cheat providers. [One wonders how difficult a task it will be to eradicate cheaters from the ranks of 100 million players. A few days later, on May 20, Rambo and Die Hard's John McClane will appear in the game as premium operator skins.
