Mass Effect Legendary Edition's patch 1.02 is quite voluminous at just under 12 GB, with changes to all three games and launchers, but a closer look reveals further visual improvements and fixes to achievement tracking, at least in the PC version The game has also been updated to include a new game engine and a new game engine. Some of the issues noted by players on Steam at launch appear to have been fixed in the 1.01 launch day update, and player reviews have been generally positive, although some players are still reporting crashes at launch.

It is always difficult to determine how widespread the problems are, such as poor performance of the Origin launcher and crashes at launch, but the patch notes make no mention of any known issues on PC at this time. It is not unlikely that the team is still working out the kinks. At least as far as the missing FOV slider is concerned, modders are coming to the rescue. The full patch notes are below.
