Valheim has sold 6.8 million copies and continues to sell.

Embracer Group, the video game holding company that is the parent company of Coffee Stain, the publisher of "Valheim," released its latest financial report for the first quarter of 2021, showing that the Early Access version was released in February and sold 4 million copies that month alone. The company presented new sales figures for Valheim. According to the report, sales of Valheim have since reached 6.8 million units, and the company expects to sell another 1 to 1.2 million units in the current quarter, which ends in July. This confirms the 6 million figure announced by developer Iron Gate Studios about two months ago.

Valheim was the only game published by Coffee Stein this year, increasing the company's net sales by 851%. Elsewhere, like much of the gaming industry, Embracer Group is doing quite well, selling nearly 2 million copies of the excellent SnowRunner and over 2 million copies of SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom remake, which also sold over 2 million It has sold more than 2 million copies. [There is much to look forward to in Valheim's future. The latest patch just upgraded some of the visuals, and we can't wait for the big "Hearth & Home" update.
